Scott K. Foley is an independent filmmaker based in Los Angeles whose award-winning films and videos have screened at festivals across the globe.
Currently, Scott works as editor on feature films , television shows, and documentaries. Recent projects he’s worked on have premiered at Tribeca and the New York Film Festival and have been distributed by The Atlantic, The Orchard, Kino Lorber, and PBS.
In 2016, Scott wrote and directed his first feature, Jessica, a slice-of-life drama that asks whether coming-of-age can ever come too late. The film played more than a dozen festivals and won awards such as Best Drama, Best Director and the Grand Prix award from the Chelsea Film Festival in New York City.
Scott has been working in the film and TV industry for more than a decade. He began his career as a camera operator, but in 2012, after being given the chance to edit a low-budget feature, he moved out of camera department and into editorial, a move that gives him unique insight into the magic of building character and story.
